Anambra: 3 tricycle armed robbers burnt alive

At least three out of a five-man armed robbbery gang that has been terrorising residents of Odume layout, Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State, were reportedly set ablaze alive, weekend along People's club/Limca road junction, Obosi.

Trouble was said to have stated when the armed robbers stormed the alleged junction and started robbing at gun-point and on the process were caught by angry mob who immediately set three out of five of them alive.

The one that was driving the bike, a commercial tricycle operator, was said to have been flagged down by the gang that pretended to be mere  passengers to take them to a destination and midway to the place he was commandeered to join them for a robbery operation or forfeit his life.

So when the irate mob arrested them, he quickly told the mob that he was not a member of their gang but was commandered to join them or risk being killed 

Believing he said the truth, he was taken away by the local vigilante group with his tricycle while the rest were burnt alive to serve as deterrent to would-be future armed robbers.
