A youth leader in Amorka, Ihiala Local Government Area, Anambra State,  Chief Chidiebere Young Igbokwupute, Monday, urged Nigerians to vote for the Labour Party, LP, Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, saying he (Obi), was the only Presidential candidate that went to the crisis-torn Southern Borno State, for campaign rally at the risk of his life.

Explaining further, he stated that his going to Southern Borno despite military advice not to go showed the love he has for Nigerians living in that part of the country who have their lives worsened by terrorists Boko Haram.

' Obi went to Southern Borno at a great personal risk, at the risk of his life, against the advice of the military and other security agencies. He was willing and ready to lay down his life for the people. What a selfless and compassionate leader. It is on record that Peter Obi is the only presidential candidate to visit Southern Borno, where even the president is afraid to go to. Let’s all go out on Saturday and cast our votes for this God-sent servant leader," the youth leader pleaded.

Recall that Obi  when he wanted to go to Southern Borno State, confessed that military and others advised him not to venture to get to  Southern Borno because of the insecurity situation there but he insisted going stating that Nigerians there wanted him to come.

"Nigerians live there, we can only die once. People there want to see me. I don't know what I am going to see there and I landed and found Nigerians waiting for me.

"This is what is happening in any place I go to, they will like to see me physically because they know I feel for them as Nigerians. The military and others said if I go there I can't land in their compound but I landed in a compound there," Obi stated.
