LG Elections: Idemili South Stands Still for Amaka Obi, Other APGA candidates

It was a mammoth crowd at Central School Nnobi, Idemili South LGA, Anambra State as All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) party faithfuls and supporters thronged the arena to express their solidarity for the current Transition Committee Chairman, Hon Mrs Amaka Obi (Iyom Ife-Abata) and other candidates aspiring for councilorship positions.
As Anambra State local government election draw near, Idemili South stakeholders kicked-off ward to ward/community campaign in Central school, Nnobi.
In his opening remarks, the Special Adviser to Governor on Youth Development, Hon. Dr. Nelson Omenugha welcomed the campaign team, and appreciated God for making the event possible, for giving Ndi Anambra Governor Charles Soludo CFR and for giving us Hon. Amaka Obi as the flag bearer of the party.
He said, there is no need of changing a winning team in the middle of the battle and highlighted achievements of Governor Soludo which Nnobi benefited alot from it. He urged the good people of the community to come out enmass and vote for APGA.
Addressing the cheering crowd, Idemili South Executive Chairmanships APGA candidate, Hon. Amaka Obi commended them for their support and seek for more support to take the council area to the next level of development.
In their separate remarks, the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Don Onyenji, Anambra APGA Assistant Treasurer, Hon. Uche Maduekwe, Idemili South local government APGA Chairman, Chief Kizito Anoliefo and Hon. Ebuka urged the people of Nnobi to vote APGA candidates in order to complement the effort of Mr. Governor at grassroot level.
While describing Hon. Amaka Obi as a pacesetter who is the only woman that stands tall among the men, Hon. Onyenji said, when a good man is in authority, the people rejoiced, affirming that Governor Soludo is a good man. He added that APGA is traditionally rooted political party in Nigeria, and appealed to them to vote massively for APGA in the forthcoming council polls.
Highlight of the campaign was presentation of APGA flags to councillorship candidates of the party by Idemili South APGA Chairman, Chief Kizito Anoliefo.
Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Mike Omenugha, who appreciated God for the successful campaign and prayed for journey mercy to all the people that attended the campaign.

Ifeanyi Anakuba, Former TC Chairman of Idemili South, Hon. Abasili, Dr. Mike Omenugha, SA to Governor on Digital Security, Hon. Chigbo, Chief Dr. Ifeanyichukwu Ezeibe, former SSA to Governor, Hon. IK, member representing Idemili South in State Assembly, Hon. Ebuka Igwe, present and past councillors, local government and ward executives, women leaders, youth leaders, support groups and many others.
