On the heels of the recent public statements made by Engr. Dan Zeelunjo Analikukwu the President General of Nimo Town Development Union (NTDU) during the town launching of 2024 Farming Season where he listed a lot of-Lands  namely, Nimo Owa, Owe, Mkpuluota, Nkokpo, Agunogba and Aguekpe to be cultivated by his people to achieve bumper harvest published in one of the Nigeria Newspaper, Nigerian Pilot on 25th April, 2024  Chief-Ejike Okafor the President general of Abacha Development Union a neigbouring Community to Nimo has faulted the statement dubbing it as mischievous and a charade put up to cover the truth of the whole matter noting that the statement was a ploy to confuse the the general public on the true ownership of the said lands.

While saying that such public talk can ignite crises if not well managed, He stated that his people Abacha community had *been living peacefully with their neighbors and have been having possession of the three lands which are Agu Owa, Ugwu Ogazi, Agu Nogba from time immemorial and wondered why the President General decided to delve in such matters knowing fully well that the land belong to Abacha town people.

Said the President General, “These three lands Agu Owa, Ugwu Ogazi, Agu Nogba belong to Abacha people starting from the times of our forefathers, We Abacha people don’t know why the Nimo people or the president general is making such statements, it is on record that Abacha people are bonafide owners of these places as these areas are part of on the ongoing court matter involving ABACHA community  as defendants and  NIMO as plaintiffs in a suit No. NN/110/2018 in the Anambra State High Court, sitting at Neni.

On his part, Mr. Mathew Obi, the Secretary General of Abacha  Development Union while affirming what the President General of his community has said called the NIMO Town President General to withdraw his statement on the said lands and choose the path of peace adding that the two town has been living peacefully and will not afford to be enemies this time.
