Ogbaru Plastic Market Anambra State Markets Amalgamated Traders Association, ASMATA/APGA Support Group, has been inaugurated by the ASMATA State Chairman of Soludo Solution Group, SSG, comrade Peter Okala, in preparation for return of Governor Charles Soludo for second tenure.

Addressing the traders during the inauguration, Okala stated that Soludo has no rival in the 2025 gubernatorial  election as the state has only APGA, adding that the Governor's achievements will speak for him.

His words, " Soludo has dedicated himself, effort, energy and wisdom to better the welfare of Ndi Anambra, no governor is so open and accomodating to non indigenes more than Soludo since the inception of this state. No governor has achieved up to what Soludo achieved in just two years.

"In appreciation to him, I call on traders and Ndi Anambra both at home and in Diaspora to transfer their voters' card to Anambra and vote for the governor to garner more votes. It is a project and  I charge them to appreciate governor Soludo. I am not asking for too much, all our brothers that include Hausa and Yoruba, should transfer their cards to Anambra and vote for the hard working Governor.

"One good turn deserves another, the greatest reward to good work is another opportunity to serve. Traders registered within their market and those restricted should be able to transfer their voters card to the nearest polling unit in their residential area in Anambra so that the restriction during the election will not affect you," he state.

The ASMATA PG, Chief Humphrey Anuna, had in his speech urged the traders to always stand by the truth if they want to make it in life and at the same time make heaven.

"We lack knowledge and it makes us to mess up, if you believe in God you will not have problem in your life. With truth you will progress in life.

"Governor Soludo has come to better the welfare of the people and all can attest to it. We are not here for campaign, when the time comes for campaign we talk about that. We are here to create awareness on his achievements in two years," he stated.

Speaking shortly, Mr Onyebuchi Ukaeje, President, Plastic Dealers Multi-purpose Cooperative Society limited, stated that the information on the inauguration came late to them yet they could be able to come out en masse to see that everybody went fine as expected.

"We are supporting Soludo in a big way because he is doing a wonderful work. Our roads are well tarred. Okpoko is now small London, he is a solution governor and he promised to make Anambra state Taiwan and he is doing it.

"The support group will give him full support and we are telling him to move ahead of other contestants coming out for governorship contest, they should wait for another time after Soludo.

"It pains me  a lot that a big market like this does not have polling unit, we are casting our votes in Ogbo Efele market, we are begging governor to help us provide polling unit for our market even if is two or three," he pleaded.

"Our market has been in existence before we relocated to this side, but other markets are remembered with polling units except us," he lamented.

"Chief Humphrey Anuna, ASMATA PG, is doing marvelously well in markets, we are telling him to keep on with his good work in the market.

"We are also pleading with government that we will be grateful if governor Soludo will help us with a big solar for our market and road leading inside our market is bad, if government can help us," he pleaded.

Mr. Chukwudi Christian, chairman Ogbaru Plastic Dealers Association, has in his speech stated that, "We are trying our best, what we did today will show you what we can do because our Governor is working.

"He is working on the roads in Anambra state, now movement in Anambra state is very easy, therefore whether good or bad, he is going for the second tenure, we will give him all our support

"We are begging our Governor to come to our rescue, the road leading to our market is too bad. Trucks are not coming into our market through Uga junction again, from Uga junction to Kara junction, Idemili and Okoti are extremely bad, we are suffering there.

"Our market has a large population of about 2000 plus, we are all living within our market. But most of them registered in Ogbo Efele because there is no polling unit in our market," he lamented.

Nze Patrick Umeojiakor, former leader of Plastic Dealers Association, thanked Chief Humphery Anuna, ASMATA PG and Chief Peter Okala, Chairman of ASMATA-APGA Support Group and their entourage for their wonderful efforts today in their market.

"The main problem we have in our market is polling unit, Street light and construction of road leading to our market, we are finding it difficult for our goods loaded in a truck to come inside our market" he maintained.
