No fewer than 1000 widows  at the popular Onitsha food stuff/perishable market, near Coca Cola plant Onitsha, weekend went into jubilation, when their patron, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka (Ogilisi Igbo) stormed the market to tell them the need to re elect Governor Charles Soludo, come the 2025 gubernatorial election and for them to commend the governor for their return to the market after they were sacked.

Recall that the goverent closed the market for sometime before reopening it last month through the effort of Chief Ezeonwuka, President General, PG, Anambra State Amalgamated Traders' Association,  ASMATA, Chief Humphrey Anuna and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade and Market, Hon. Evarist Ubah

The widows who spoke during Ezeonwuka's courtesy visit to the market to congratulate them for moving back to the market, showered praises to Governor Soludo for hearing their cry to reopen the market noting that their return to the market has helped them to cushion the effect of current economic hardship and raise money to pay school fees of their children this term

They echoed that Ezeonwuka has been their patron since the administration of former Governor Peter Obi and former Governor Willie Obiano onward to the present administration of Governor Soludo noting that the Ogilisi Igbo gives them very important service in their area of bridging the gap between them and government.

The spokesperson of the widows explained that Ezeonwuka who is also a patron of ASMATA has always stood behind them like father and a middle pointer when they have issues with government adding that he has consistently helped them through good advice in playing the role of a father and middle pointer to help them resolve issue with government.

While praying that God will continue to give Ezeonwuka good health and protection, they assured their unalloyed support for Governor Soludo and APGA as well as to the President General of Anambra State Market Amalgamated Traders Association ASMATA Chief Humphrey Anudu (ONWA) and the Special Adviser to the governor on Trade and Markets, Hon.
