Jubilation In Nnewi As St. Dominic's Catholic Church Otolo Renovated

Catholic Community of St. Dominic's Catholic Church Ndimgbu Otolo Nnewi in Anambra state were thrown into jubilation as their long stayed Church building was renovated.

The Parishioners converged en mass at the Parish premises and celebrated with friends and well-wishers as well as their new Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Nnajiofor who they said God used to renovate the Church.

In their separate speeches, the vice Chairman of Parish Council, Sir. Joachim Osuzigbe noted that their parish Church has now wear a new look and he feels delighted.

He extolled both the Parish Priest and Parishioners for their unalloyed support and prayed God to bless each and everyone of them. 

Similarly, Prince Chukwuka Anozodo explained that God has been wonderful for their Parish, saying that God has answered their prayers through Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Nnajiofor.



He therefore prayed God to finish the good work He has started in their Parish.

Equally speaking, the Catholic Women Organization (CWO) Parish President, Mrs. Ebere Arinzechi said that the presence of their new Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Nnajiofor contributed to the possibility of the  Church renovation and she was grateful to God. 

She poured accolades to all the Parishioners who contributed immensely for Church renovation and asked God to bless them in all their endeavours

In his appreciation speech, the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Nnajiofor said that God loves their Parish so much, saying that they were celebrating what God has done in their Parish.

He therefore explained that even though he was posted newly in the Parish but he considered it  imperative to renovate the Church in order to circumvent rain from beating the Parishioners during Mass celebration.

He also added that the Church building needed to be modernized to suite the modern time, even as he said that with the spirit of oneness, they would soon build a parish Rectory and new Church building where they would relocate permanently.

He eulogized all the Parishioners both those living at home and in diaspora for their cash support, labour amongst other, just as he commended, Prince Ifeanyi Anozodo and wife, Sir& Lady Innocent Osuzigbe, Chief Goddy Agundeofo, Chief Chicochukwu in a special way for their cash support as well as Mr/Mrs Osita Nwaokolo who donated land to Church.
