The Rt. Hon. Engr. Idu Emeka Godwin, member representing Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency, in the green chamber, sympathizes with flood victims all over the nation.
He advised them to move to a save place stating that it is though moment of grief for those living in the affected areas even as he prayed God to come to their rescue at this time of pain of homelessness, hunger, discomfort of all manners.
Floods can wash away everything but they cannot wash away the hope in your hearts. I pray to God to give you all the strength to fight out these tough times.
I know you all have lost a lot in these floods but I just pray that you have not lost the confidence in you and the faith in Almighty.
In such difficult times, I just want to let you all know that I am there for you all. Flood doesn’t have the power to wash away the joy in you.
There are many people out there who have lost a lot like you all in these floods and there are many who have lost more than what you all have lost. Don’t lose hope my dear people.
Sending my warm sympathies to all victims affected in these disastrous times. I pray to Almighty to impart you all with all the strength to come out of these tough times.
