Anambra-based journalist celebrates 25th wedding anniversary

In a joyous celebration, Mr. Tobias Ekirika, a journalist based in Anambra State, and his wife, Mrs. Juliana Ekirika, renewed their wedding vows and rededicated their marriage in the presence of their loved ones and well-wishers.

The ceremony commenced with a solemn Holy Mass at SS Peter & Paul Iba Pope Awada, Idemili North Local Government Area of the State. The occasion was filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and happiness.

Tobias Ekirika, a Senior Reporter at Our Nation Newspaper and Chairman of the Amale Kwune Ameka Development Union (AADU) in the Onitsha branch of Ezza South Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, expressed his deep appreciation for God’s faithfulness to his family.

He acknowledged the blessings of children, good health, and divine protection that have been bestowed upon them.


“Today, I am filled with immense joy, and I give all the glory to God. This occasion serves as a testament to our gratitude and a recommitment to Him, as He has consistently shown His faithfulness to us. We will forever worship and honor Him,” Tobias exclaimed with excitement.

During his opening speech, Mr. Nweke Sampson, the Chairman of the occasion and a member of the Amale Kwune Ameka community in Ezza South, Ebonyi State, testified to the peaceful and harmonious life that Tobias and his wife have cultivated since their marriage.

He urged other couples to emulate their example.

Mr. Nweke, filled with enthusiasm, extended his heartfelt wishes to Tobias and his wife for a remarkable 50th wedding anniversary in the future.
