The PFN leadership also sued for oneness and unity of faith which is the mandate of Jesus Christ to the church.

The Idemili North Penticostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Chairman (IN PFN) Pastor Ifeanyichukwu Enekwachi made the call for oneness as the chapter joined their counterparts in the 21 LGAs of Anambra State to mark Pentecost.

"Jesus Christ prayed for the oneness of the church saying in St John's gospel chapter 17 that they may be one as I am with God. Let us do the will of God. The Pentecostals have to unite together and know we are serving one God, one Spirit and one Truth," said Enekwachi.

Moreover, Pastor Enekwachi explained Pentecost as the day the Holy Spirit came as promised by God, baptizing the believers into Christ and giving them the power to be witnesses.

"Pentecost is the day the church was born. Christ was crucified, rose again, spent 40days with his disciples, ascended to heaven, after 10days of waiting together at the upper room at Jerusalem, the Holy Spirit descended with power to equip them for ministry and witnessing," he said.

The Idemili North leadership  also presented meritorious awards to honour Stakeholders and Pentecostal fathers who were recently appointed members of LAC for immensely supporting the PFN administration programs in Idemili North spiritually and financially urging them not to relent in playing their fatherly advisory roles.

Earlier in his sermon titled 'Power that changes the world Luke 24 vs 49', Bishop Augustine Nwodika lamented that the church is busy building edifices at expense of building spiritually sound human beings that would make the world a better place to live in.

"Pentecostals have lost the power. We stopped at the Pentecost that is why there is no much demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit again. The church which is suppossed to be the body of believers who has encountered the transformative power of Jesus Christ has started playing entertainment.

"We are building our own kingdom not the Kingdom of God that is why our youths have turned back to idolatry. Wickedness, crimes and witchcraft are on the increase. The church has backslidden, let us go back to God in genuine repentance and receive the power to be able to contend with the ungodliness of this end time," said the prelate.
