A group under the aegis of Concerned Residence and Landlords Otigba Enuovuve Layout Nkwelle-Ezunaka, Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State have raised alarm over the erection of offensive structures blocking a major High way  at the Otigba Enuovuve Layout Nkwelle-Ezunaka  closer to Borrow pit.

Concerned group in a petition sent to the Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo signed by their Chairman, Mr. John Okafor and Secretary, Mr. Dennis Umeh and made available to newsmen in Onitsha.

They accused one Mr. Chinazor Ezeayom popularly known as Ikemba of being a notorious land grabber who they said is brazenly building a major block of stores on the main road without any approval and authorization from the Anambra state Physical Planning Board or other authorising governmental agencies responsible for approval as it concerns to construction of structures.

According to the group, they said, they have laid complaint to the Oyi Local Government Council and Anambra state Physical Planning Board but nothing seems to be done, even as they alleged that Mr. Ezeayom had boasted that nothing would happen and no force on Earth would stop him because he is in good term with the police and some top government agencies.

They passionately appealed to  Governor Soludo to come to their aide and send government officials to visit the area and verify their claims as well as remove the offensive structures presently constructing in the area,  alleging that Mr. Ezeayom had sworn to erect structures wherever it pleases him not minding approval or not approved.

They however lauded Governor Soludo for his transformation agenda in the state, his good governance, his achievements in the area of security, openings of drainages, road construction, eradication of touts and demolition of illegal structures.

Contacted for comment on the allegations, Mr. Ezeayom said" I am not a land grabber and I did not erect structures in unapproved place. I never sworn that l must erect structures wherever it pleases me as the faceless concerned group claimed.

He also denied blocking any major road or high way at the Otigba Enuovuve layout, saying that he bought the portion of land where he is erecting buildings from Akpukwu family of Enuovuve and he paid necessary levies to the landlord Association.
