Soludo's aide threatens court action against Opera mini over false picture placement

The Senior Special Adviser, SSA, to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, on Security, Hon. Chinenye Ihenko Okpompi, Thursday, threatened to drag the Java ME platform, Opera mini, to court, for allegedly placing falsely, his picture, as that of a dead notorious armed robber, Okwudili Ndiwe, (a.k.a. 'Derico Nwamama).

Fuming, while fielding questions from newsmen, the SSA vowed that unless his picture is removed forthwith, he has consulted with his lawyer for necessary action.

"My picture was placed instead of Derico's picture, while his history was being made known to the world by Opera mini. I see no reason to falsely place my picture instead of Derico's picture," he stated.

Recall that Opera mini in its write up said, "Like many other armed robbers, Okwudili Ndiwe, who  is known as Derico Nwamama, started as a pick pocket before he became a full blown and notorious armed robber. He was very notorious in the year 2000 and was said to have robbed and killed hundreds of people which included tens of police officers that tried to stop him and over 100 innocent civilians.

"Derico was so notorious that when the police could not catch him, the Governor of Anambra state, where he operated, invited an armed group known as the 'Bakassi boys', who are know for using strong charm to catch evil people and behead them.

"Derico was eventually caught on 3rd July, 2001 by the Bakassi boys and six days later, he was paraded and beheaded at the 'Ochanja market on 9th July, 200," it hinted.

In the write up, 16 notorious armed robbers were mentioned as having terrorised the country which included, Derico Nwamama, lawrence Anini, Ishola Onyenusi, Sina Rambo, Isiaka Busari, aka-Mighty Joe and Abubakar Shakau.

Others were, Terwase Akwaza, Abiodun Egunjob,aka Godo, Chukwudiemm Onwuamadike-aka Evans,and Hamisu Bala,aka- Wadumi.
