OBITUARY ANNOUNCEMENT OF PROF. GEORGE OBIOZOR, PRESIDENT GENERAL, OHANAEZE NDIGBO WORLDWIDE
The Obiozor family of Umuejikeuzu, Ubachima 1, Awo-Omamma, Oru-East LGA, Imo State, Nigeria announces with deep sorrow the transition of her son, father and grandfather Ambassador Professor George Achilike Obiozor CON., Whose death occurred on December 12th, 2022 at the age of 80.
Ambassador Obiozor in his lifetime traversed the National and International community having been, at different times, the Director-General, of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Ambassador of Nigeria to the State of Israel /High Commissioner to Cyprus and Nigerian Ambassador to the United States of America. He was before his death the President-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide.
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
FRIDAY FEBRUARY 3RD 2023:
8 AM: Body arrives at his compound for lying in state.
10am: Funeral Mass at St John's Catholic Parish, Ubachima 1, Awo-Omamma.
1pm: Interment at his Compound
Reception and Condolences immediately after internment at his compound
