Recently, the Enugu State Indigenes residing in Anambra State have bestowed honour of ADA DI ORA MMA NDI ENUGU STATE to the distinguished senator currently representing Anambra North Senatorial zone in the Red Chamber of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Stella Adaeze Oduah.
According to the group, they explained that the honour of recognition was to reciprocate the distinguished Senator for her numerous contributions to the well-being of Ndi-Enugu State who are living in Anambra State and to the entire Anambra State especially Anambra North Senatorial zone.
During the occasion, the group raised funds to assist their indigents members who could no longer cope up with the current global economic crunch, even as they rained encomium to Senator Oduah and pledged to support her.
" We are indigenes of Enugu State living in Anambra State. We are witness to what Senator Oduah has been doing in Anambra State mostly in Anambra North Senatorial zone which she represents in the Senate. Some of us had lived so many years and even married, born and brought up our Children in Anambra. So, the woman is really a blessing to numerous people including we Ndi-Enugu State. With this her singler act, she is our candidate"
Commenting during the occasion, Hon. Iwuchukwu Samuel described Senator Oduah as a virtuous woman with large heart, stating that God uses her to bless humanity and her magnanimous act has no boundary.
Hon. Iwuchukwu who represented Senator Oduah in the award for recognition therefore, stated that Senator Oduah focuses on human capital development which according to him touches all aspects of human life and infrastructures, pointing out that she is People's oriented Senator through her developmental strides.
He, however, solicited the group to continue to spread the good work of Senator Oduah to their members who have not registered with them and continues to support Senator Stella Oduah especially in the fortcoming election in Nigeria.
Dignitaries at the occasion includes; Bishop of the Niger West, His Lordship Most Rev. Johnson. N. Ekwe, Chief Fred Chinweuba, Ozor Ifeanyichukwu Enukora amongst other while presentation of award for recognition and funds raising formed highlight of the occasion.
