Corruption and Bad Leadership Destroying African Continent—UK Based Nigerian

United Kingdom based Nigerian, Mr.Ikenna Offor from Nsugbe, Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State who was recently inducted into a prestigious international non governmental organisation
and participant of the United Nations Global Compact, the International Association Of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) has disclosed that Africa has refused to develop due to corruption and bad leadership among political leaders on the continent.
The event which took place in Enugu , Nigeria at the Filbon Guest House, Upper Chime Avenue,New Haven, Enugu concided with the celebration of International Day For The Elimination of Violence Against Women had lots of dignitaries in attendance.
The event was Chaired by HRH Eze Arc Jude Obidiegwu, Eze Odenigbo the Second of Ikwuano- Obodoukwu Autonomous Community had Chief (Mrs) Uju Ken Ohanenye as Guest Speaker and Mrs. Ugochi Ejiekpe as Key Note Speaker.
Other awardees who had distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavour were also inducted into the prestigious Organisation.
President ,World Peace Ambassador,Chief Per Stafsen and Special Adviser to the Enugu State governor on SDGs, Hon Mabel Agbo were all present at the event.
In his remark, a recipient of the Global Peace Award, Mr Ikenna Offor who is International Director, FS Initiative and Founder MMILI OKWUTE TABLE WATER described his induction as an honour and privilege.
While extending his message of hope and peace in Africa, especially, Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation and the coming general elections in the country,Mr.Offor preached the message of peace as the country marches towards the general elections.
According to Ikenna Offor who’s Director of a UK job recruitment agency, SPRA which employs a number of Africans and locals in the North East of England disclosed that it has been a turbulent period the world over right from the Covid-19 pandemic era to wars and conflicts in various parts of the globe.
He noted the global conflicts which have drastically increased poverty level among citizens of various nations have shown no signs of decline soonest.
He pointed out that corruption and bad governance among African leaders have further aggravated the situation from declining.
” So being honoured today as Peace Ambassador of this noble Organization, at a time like this is certainly a huge challenge for us to do more in the face of these enormous challenges with no signs of abating.
The international development expert thanked the organisers for their thoughtfulness and sincerity in pursuit of world peace in accordance with United Nations declaration on rights of people to peace as adopted in 1984 by the body and pledged to be a good Ambassador of the Organization.
